      Today, Noel, Tony and I happened across this lovely historic town called MADISON on the OHIO River in Indiana..about 40 minutes from the Ohio River crossing at Louisville. ..

      Right after we passed mile marker 90 on I-65, heading south (to mile marker 0), traffice came to a dead stop. For the next hour, we crept bumper to bumper, for about 60 miles. At MM34, we got on a state hwy. to get gas, and got back on just before Louisville, and missed the roadblock by a few thousand feet. So that meant the backup was approximately 80 miles.

      ... the most states in one day- 4- Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. To be honest, I wasn't clear on this when we set out, it was the welcome signs and license plates that really told us where we were at any point in the day.
