The school was a lot of fun....it was K-4 (the perfect age group for his program) and John had up to 45 minutes with them, so he was able to work on some things that he and Ryan & Steve had discussed last weekend when we were with the show. ... girls who act like they're afraid of clowns VERY LOUDLY and a man in a store who couldn't wrap his head around John not being embarrassed about being a clown. Hah. The folks at the library were really nice and the gas at Casey's was the cheapest we've seen in awhile ($3.49/gal).

We took off around 11:30am for Carthage, IL and drove through cornfields for an hour...I definitely prefer that to the outskirts of Chicago!

... came around a blind corner a little distracted and saw that I was heading for a 6-8" round rock. I hit it, the front suspension held with only a one inch twitch in the handle bars. I was so happy with the suspension then I looked down and my GPS was gone! Well you know what people are without their phones or Ipads, that's me with my GPS.
