Great steak and family roots in KC
I am too tired to write tonight. Many thanks to Gene, Greg and Garilyn Barner for a wonderful dinner last night and a grest tour of Kansas City and family roots this morning. We're in West Mining (or something like that!), Kansas, tonight, camping next to a giant -- and I do mean GIANT -- steam shovel. details tomorrow, after we get some sleep and take some ...
First day of crazy!

Needless to say it was an interesting journey. We all felt the train slow down and excited grins lit up our faces like a kid at a candy store. A home for a few nights
We were blessed to be taken in to our friend's brothers home with his family. Dan and Erin plus their super fun daughters Laura and Molly! We stayed for two nights with them! All of them were so hospitable. We played Jenga with the girls and had a blast. Laura especially who is 9 was hilarious! She had such a sense of humor and Molly was very sweet! Erin made us a delicious dinner. They made us feel right at home! Thank you so much!! ...
Unending
Today we drove across Kansas. The drive only seemed unending, 400 miles of the same. I (Tim) wanted to leave early so we could be in Kansas City in time to watch the Steelers play the Eagles. We rolled into Kansas City in time for the second half and checked into the Sheraton (taking a break from the RV tonight) only to discover they had the 1PM Fox game blacked out. Oh well, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Brio Tuscan Grille and the Steelers won!

"What do you think that is," he asked.
"It's big enough to fit a man inside."
"That is exactly what that is."
