... British Columbia, so came with quite a reputation. We were lucky enough to be sat out on the terrace (we’d dropped the "we’re on honeymoon" bomb on them and it seemed to work this time, although has been strangely ineffective in most places). The terrace has lovely views down to the lakefront, somewhat obscured today by smoke from nearby bushfires. ... fed 3° water! It was nice to be able to fully submerge our bodies. We played some frisbee while Ceri and Megan hired jetskis. Poor Ceri lost his gopro after a big stack. Expensive activity for him in the end.
We had another group bbq dinner at the hostel and spent the rest of the evening drinking and enjoying out last night together.

... Christmas today! I tried to Skype home but it a bad connection but I still got to say hello! I really missed everyone and wanted to be there for Christmas. Canadian Christmas Allana and I worked abc then headed to Jess's, Callums, Brooke's and Donnie's house in Happy Valley for Christmas dinner. Omg it was delicious! A massive turkey and veggies were so delicious. Sticky date ...
After we left Ian in Calgary, mom and I headed west. We stopped for awhile in Canmore and did a little exploring in the community - very pretty setting. She said that at one time Jamie had considered moving there - so it changed a persons perspective on how you looked at the community when touring around.
