We contemplated an early rise so we could see sunrise at Lake Moraine but with the long drive ahead to Kelowna we decided that we needed an extra hour or so sleep. We were still out of bed and at Lake Moraine by just before 8am and we were astounded to see so many cars and people already filling the carpark and viewing platforms.
