... br> Not knowing what to expect, we spoke with the ranger to get a feel for
the trails in the area. There was a 2.5 mile loop which takes you up the river
to view Amicalola Falls. Once at the falls, there is a stair case which takes
you to top of the falls and then we would head back through a trail deeper in
the forest. We decided to hike to the falls and play it by ear after seeing the
stairs. The trail was very lush and green. The rain the previous night made ...
