Westward Ho!

Most advice when traveling across the great plains of the top of the USA is "keep driving" and that was pretty much what we did. It was so straight and boring that even Hilary got behind the wheel for a few hundred miles. It was good to finally take on the drive that had hung over us and we were keen to get it over with. ... up the car at Costco, walked about inside (more walking - is good!) and bought a Costco hotdog to take back to the room with us for supper. By the time we got back to the room, we were hungry, so the hotdog is gone, and I'm working on a cup of tea.

Our next two days are driving days: Fargo, ND, then Winnipeg, Manitoba, where we'll spend 2 nights and one day.
