We left Calgary this afternoon at 1:15 pm. It was yet another beautiful day in YYC. Our flight arrived early in Houston at 6 pm, 26C and sunny, and we had to wait for 20 minutes on the plane before we could get to a free gate to disembark from the plane. Taxi to the Super 8, and then we walked to our favourite restaurant, Pappa's Seafood. Excellent …

It’s an outstanding collection of only the very best of ...

Threat of rain today. Do I sound like a broken record? Gray clouds, but warm temperatures.
Luckily we’ll be inside most of the day.

This morning we braved the post-rush hour traffic to drive to the Johnson Space Center (JSC). We’re really looking forward to seeing it since we’ve also been to Cape Canaveral. Just getting into the center was slow. Once we got off the ...

... The Minots were avid collectors of modern and tribal art. The building housing their collection is a modern architectural monument in and of itself. The collection of art is eclectic to say the least. From modern artists (Rothko, Warhol, etc.) to ancient Greek artifacts, to northwest Indian and pacific island figures, something to appeal to everyone.

Following this high brow tour, we headed off to the beer can house. This is on the list of unusual ...
