... beautiful and impressive rice terraces that no-one had told me about.

There was barely anyone there and I was alone trekking along the road up the mountain. The only sounds were my footsteps and the water trickling through the irrigation channels of the terraces. Occasionally a MIA villager would pass me, often with a load of veges or grain.

... and bridges cemented my love of the joint. Followed by 2 of the cutest kids who I’ve ever met, who upon saying Hello to me, then proceeded to ask if I’ve eaten and whether I want some beer or not…trying to convince me to go and drink beer. It was cute beyond words

... the lecture we toured the kaili sunday market-about everything you could imagine for sale-farm implements, chickens-live and butchered clothing ,meats, hogs head and pigs feet. dentists-chairs open to the street and antique-just about anything you could imagine.
after lunch bussed to a liitle village and hour or so away and up in the hill where they make paper. have been for over 600 ...

Les femmes en tenue traditionnelle laissent pousser leurs cheveux très longs pour les ramasser en chignon sur le sommet de la tête. On a souvent vu une grosse fleur plantée sur le devant et un peigne en argent à l’arrière. Les portes bébés très colorés sont brodés par la mère.
