... me an apple as a gift! The local chinese people in this poor area are so amazingly kind and friendly!
So it seems i just have to go and pack my bag and get ready for the adventure of a bus trip to the airport tomorrow (about 2 hours) and then the long haul home by Monday. Looking forward to downloading all my photos and sharing them with you soon. xx

Well it seems to have gone very quickly this week! We have spent the day finalising the work we have done with some of the students. There are so many others that we didnt get to spend time with -the teachers all work hard to engage and teach the children but there is a big need for special equipment here! Hi All, It has been a busy few days here! We have been working with many beautiful children who welcome us with big smiles and strong hand grips - they dont want to let you go! There are 86 children here attending the school with 48 from Eagles Wings Homes (also funded by COAT the Australian Charity). We are now on travel week for 8 days. Travel week is our reward for working 2 weeks teaching English Strategies to Chinese English educators. We flew from Fuzhou to Guilin which took 2 hours. I've explored Fuzhou even more this year---there's a funky reconstruction of the way things were in China called Three Alleys and Seven Lanes which is a tourist street filled with shops, restaurants (my favorite dumpling place), reconstructed houses and a Starbucks, even!
