... been spoiled with great weather for the past 9 days so I couldn't complain to much..that was until I couldn't find my rain jacket. I had accidentally left my rain jacket in a restaurant in Delaware Water Gap, PA. I hiked for 3 rainy and cold days until I was able to pick up a poncho from a little trailside store. I was finally able to get a hold of the restaurant and they sent my jacket to Pawling so I could pick it up. At least now when it rains ...

A travel blog entry by sethfield on Aug 11, 2013

Firstie year was easily the best year we had at West Point. Because we now had cars on campus we did something off-post almost every weekend and took pass significantly more often than in previous years. The Firstie Club was a common hangout for us as well, and this year Jim and I also roomed with our German exchange cadet Marcel Bamberg, who we had ...

... great end celebration with free-bouldering at Brooklyn boulders including BBQ&Beer!! After my long Bike trip (3 hours) I was of course ready to get good stuff into my stomach :)! However, first I enjoied some super-relaxing climber-yoga (skip the meditation part, more stretching and body-tension - YEAH BABY!!

I also got to know a bunch of nice people - from UK to Russia and had a great evening. A friend from the Friday hike - ...
