We had a beautiful warm summer day to do a 50 mile cruise down a section of the Hudson River. The Catskill Mountains were in our western view most of the way. We took on about 120 gallons of Valvtech Diesel about halfway. While swimming in the refreshing pool we met a nice couple on the Rainbow Connection from Coxackie NY. They brought us fresh made brownies and pleasant conversation after dinner. ...

Drove to FDR's home, museum and Presidential library. Along the way saw Bannerman's Castle. He was a munitions dealer in the 1940's. Drove through Sleep Hollow, NY but no Ickabod.
The FDR estate was beautiful just undergoing a 35 Million dollar renovation last year. His house is well preserved and the museum is full of artifacts. We didn't get to see Val-Kill or top cottage, two other ...

I just passed two day hikers, and was heading down hill......then my ankle gave out, I took a head first dive into the ground. I tried to catch myself with my hiking poles......but no luck. Every time I fall, itfeels like I stretch out the tendons - loosening the joint ...

TEDDY'S THOUGHTS

I must say that this trip was very enlightening. I learned a lot about the history of this beautiful country, the geography of the states and the different landscapes of the land. We traveled to many historical sites. Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, The National Civil Rights Museum, to name a few. We ate some good food along the way. We met some nice people from all over the country. Most ...
