    ... but he was actually really interesting to talk to and he loved the fact we were British. He said it will be a day he will always remember. I guess I do have that affect on people.     We stopped by the Allman Brothers museum at Macon (rhymes with bacon) yesterday, which is 'the big house' where the band all lived at the height of their creative period. Definitely one for the obsessive fan, but still ok just to wander around aimlessly, despite a lack of any meaningful labelling. Hey, that's rock and roll, dude.

    We managed to cross into Tennessee for lunch and stopped at Jellico for fuel and lunch. Before this trip I was unaware that diesel costs more than gasoline in the States.     ... presentations of a baby alligator, three different snakes, two unusual spiders and a scorpion. The audience was allowed to hold, pet and recoil at all of them!
