... everything we saw - the white sandy beaches and the wooden clad bars. Each day was fun packed starting with a morning workout in their garage, courtesy of Heather who put us through our paces with exercises that we hadn't been accustomed to for a while. This routine was a good addition as we ate a lot of fried food and drank a lot of beer during our stay so it kept us alive!

... part of valor, and came back down. If I were a lighthouse keeper, the ships at sea would be in a world of hurt! Larry didn't come in, so here are pix of me with a boyfriend I found inside, and of Josh and me on those incredible stairs. Oh, and one of Josh with a pelican statue. I do need to add another photo looking up those stairs. Josh was peeking down in one, when I had stopped on a window ledge, so we'll include that one.
... I would've loved to know how much some of that stuff cost! At the entrance to the pier is an enormous statue of a sea turtle, so we made pix with that before venturing out onto the pier. Josh actually saw a pretty good-sized shark, but by the time I got there to make its picture, it was too far below the surface to show up. I made a photo of where a shark used to be, but didn't include it here. (Pretty dull photo, actually.)

Motorhome Trip Odometer – 972
The 237 mile trip to Foley, AL was uneventful. Decent weather with sunshine that would depart us on our next two stops. We went "high end" with a campsite at Bella Terra RV Resort. A little spendy with all the amenities and big spacious lots.
