Visiting St. Louis
Not part of the original plan to be going through St. Louis now
We did a Priceline deal at the very last minute coming into St. Louis (I didn't think it would work, but Tony insisted), and I was impressed with how great a place it got us, we were able to walk RIGHT across the street to the Arch! (And of course, the hotel wasn't too shabby either - perhaps the best place we'll stay on ...
WE GONE
Hey, we're on the road again. We finally got things in good enough shape to leave on
schedule on 10/14. We had a great visit with our friends, Phil & Doris Crain, in Cabot, AR.
We played Sticks Rummy every evening.s

For whatever reason, don’t know if they had to pluck the chicken or what, but the food took the entire time we had prior to boarding. ...
You can find me in St. Louis.
... and other than cleaning our filthy car I see no reason for them to be in America whilst I am. We past the darkest of clouds without even a spot of rain and it was when we made our way into the sunshine that we got a light shower. We then had to work out where the windscreen wipers were as we don’t look for anything until we need it.
Our aim for the day was to visit Ted Drewes Frozen Custard as it was reported to be a must do stop on route 66. All we had ...
