    ... Storms to fire. Colt Forney, who is another 1/4 of Basehunters with our Guides Kevin and Scott turned up with his wife to wait out on Initiation.

    While we were there, Randy and Lisa, the Outlaw chasers, who I met last year came to catch up with us and wait it out too. It's really nice to see chasers who I bumped into last year that sometimes make the effort to come and meet us.

    ... but we missed the intense stuff. Apparently, during the same storm, hail and strong winds hit parts of Dallas and even started some wildfires! We were lucky and we didn't even know it!     ... at 12:35...the temp was up to 90 at this point. Paying our admission we took the next two hours touring the area. First we went into the Place of Meditation which is the final resting place of Dwight D. Eisenhower, Mamie Eisenhower, and their first-born son, Doud. It is an amazingly peaceful feeling spot.

    ... says it got its name from Wichita being the Air Capital of the World. Really??

    We spent some "quality time" this evening at a Dillon food store - a chain which is owned by Kroger. Other than that, we didn't do a whole lot, as it was late afternoon before we arrived and got set up. All in all, not much to report!
