Our stay in Wichita was just an overnight ear to break up a long drive into Texas. After breakfast we sorted out some money, had a look at the Michaels and Pet Smart stores in Wichita then hit the road at 11:30am towards Fort Worth, Texas. Again the scenery was pretty flat and uninteresting until a few hills and lakes popped up close to Fort Worth. Rusty tied things up, clamped off hoses and we limped 120ish miles into Dodge City. Poor Rusty had no AC and it was over 100 degrees. Yip, I was comfortable and cool following behind in the jeep. We reported our encounter with our insurance and called us the next day. Michael wanted us to travel to Wichita ...
