    There are 4 hotels near this hotel, but this one is closest to freeway, so it is the noisiest. Had to turn on fan to blend out the noise.

    ... but our suitcases are ready for the airport, whether we are or not.

    We'll catch an early flight from Sacramento aboard a tiny plane to Los Angeles (a small American Eagle "commuter" jet). From there, we'll fly to Miami and an airport hotel.     ... Anyone who has seen me angry can imagine the stare of death on my face. This budget guy had just made an enemy for life. Particular when he said that the website clearly stated we would need a credit card for the deposit, and I just shoved my card in his face and practically screamed “How the **** am I supposed to know this ‘credit card’ is actually a credit card?!”
