... sites on a hillside next to a lake. It didn’t seem to have any good biking trails or swimming in the lake either. (The Iowa Parks website said that this park was one of the best that southwest Iowa had to offer. Hmmm, that’s not saying much for Iowa.)

... Mousse is a full Chocolate Lab. His father Kody is about 100 pounds, his mother Holly is about 80 pounds. He is going to be a big dog. When we got to the kennel, we gathered up Mousse and weighed him. He was very gentle. I think he remembered us from our past visit. He weighed in at 18.5 pounds at 8 weeks of age. ... will occur without conscious effort - the feelings I will get when I meet the families, see the community, play with the children, etc. I know its going to change me, and how can I not be excited about that?

For Diane and I, the next two weeks are full of preparation for the trip as we Skype with Habitat leaders and I meet our host staff for the first time. Stay connected with us through this journey - its going to be FUN!!
