... on small single Hwy 207 to Lawrencetown have panoramic views of salt marshes, lakes with small islands and forest skirting round the salt marshes, lakes and homes along the highway to Cows Bay.

Gates locked to the beach so we had lunch in the car to cold outside then we walked along the boardwalk through the spruce trees and salt marsh to Cows Beach. The wind is bitterly cold, the bay and beach is very much the same ...

... pens. Ah, well. My feet were so sore but I figured if I was going to walk back to the hotel, I’d get an ice cream to enjoy along the way. So back down and along the harbour to the Cows ice cream shop. The line-up was awful but I was there and decided to wait it out. I got two scoops: orange/pineapple and green tea. The green tea ice cream was pretty good.

... could go to the 'Ex'...we did experience getting 'lost' on PEI, where you're never 'really' lost...but in Margaret's tendency to feel like she knows everything about map reading...she felt the provincial map was not made to scale....and miss calculated where we were...Doug lost faith in Margaret's then navigation abilities and didn't trust she knew what she was the end, we drove down a very narrow dirt road, for about 15 min, to find that in fact Margaret ...

This is an old fort in perfect condition dating back to 1828. We were fortunate to still be there for the firing of the gun at midday.
