... We all baked frozen pizzas, had amazing, glorious showers (even though the water pressure was terrible) and passed out. That was the longest day for me on the trail yet at 13 miles.

Today is our zero. Even though it hasn't rained as much as we thought it would, it's still been nice to rest and get some laundry done. I bought a new, larger tarp for my hammock and sent my old one home. Tomorrow we have an early morning shuttle lined up to the same gap and plan on ...

    ... my usual fashion.

Hitting the 400 toll booth without dropping the quarters was the final touch to a wonderful trip.

And now, at 2:12 in the morning of 3 August, I'm tired and have remembered all I can.

Good night... but it won't be as sound as at Cedar House.

It just hit me. They have Cedar House Rules there. ...

... definitely save room for dessert. There is a good assortment of cakes, cookies and pastries; your only problem will be deciding on just one.

And speaking of dessert, The Fudge Factory, is another great place to indulge that sweet tooth. Here you’ll find a variety of candy, caramel apples, chocolate and caramel sauces and, of course, fudge. I recommend getting a piece of candy, maybe some ...
