... we left almost immediately. As soon as we got to Ontario, the cost of fuel dropped to .92/liter and the sun was shining brightly. Aaahhh!
CORNWALL, Ontario:
· We stayed overnight at this old-old city on the shoreline of the St Lawrence River where a very long, high bridge connects it to the USA.

Awoke after dropping Zaney at the Bus Terminal in Cornwall to return to Montreal. Walking down Tollgate rd. I found some strikers from the Corporate Entity "Drive Test"...it seems licence aquisition is not a gov run industry anymore...Hmmm. Will have to investigate further. In Toronto...
... his existence for about an hour at the border, so we weren't doing that again.
The nice people at the bridge let us go back for free since we didn't even go across. The Canadian border guard on the way back scolded Sylvain for driving, saying that his driver's licence was expired and he also told us that we technically HAD to go to America and come back to renew his work permit, but he'll let it go this time. The man then directed us to a temporary border ...
... the next hill Emily's chain fell off AGAIN, but Dave saved the day again! By now it was getting close to 8 o'clock and we were getting a little concerned.
We got going again and Alexis and Emily got a little head of us so they stopped in front of a house and waited for us. There were people sitting out on the front porch and a lady called out asking if they were camping for the night. They said we were looking for a ...
... Alexis and Carmen swam with their sports bras on under their swimsuits so when they hopped back on the bikes and started off again the breeze kept them cool. Unfortunately it only worked for about 20 minutes though because it was so hot!

Near 8:30 p.m. we pulled into Cornwall's Ramada Inn. A huge wedding party spilled out of the lobby into the parking lot as I found a parking space for Googoo and went in to get our room keys. They were taking photos of the bride in the decorative hotel lobby.
There was still time for Olivia and I to enjoy the large, indoor swimming pool, and a light snack before bed.
Overall, a very satisfying day.

... running high like they do in the spring when the snow melts. I asked the guide on the raft trip if the water was higher than normal for the time of year. He said it’s running at almost twice the normal volume for this time.
I rode 225 miles today and never saw a Walmart. I didn’t even find a gas station big enough to have pay at the pump card readers. What a wonderful area!
... of interesting pictures along the way. Oil tank installations really catch my eye for some reason. And the farm, looks like the guy is growing junk. Check out the bushes growing in the bed of the dump truck.
Guess I’ll read a book. Maybe "The Brothers Bulger" by Howie Carr. If you don’t know who Howie Carr is, ask Brooke.
... I do not recomend the rasberry beer for chugging. After the Dom, things start to get fuzzy. My wallet was almost lost (recovered by Matt who was repaid for his herioism with a slap in the face), I had strange green goo substance on my left buttock and soon we were down one Masters and one Med student. The night continued. Off it was to Club 101, third floor. Strange french man, random creapy man, more beer. The night was ...
