... Joe in Mark Twain's stories.. and had doubts she'd be able to reach the waterfall over 1/2 mile in the caverns. One and DONE! The pedestrian bridge was a snap after that walk. Such fun, followed by dinner at Uncle Larry's- great little spot, where Ed met Larry himself! The BEST fresh fried fish we have ever had! We are beat after that day- now, a well deserved rest in our ...

I' pretty sure my title may have given away what I am going to write today, but that's okay because who doesn't love a funny childhood story?!

Here's a little funny story about my two sisters and I. We weren't always looking for trouble, but when we where we made sure we had some fun while doing it.

This is a absolute MUST SEE experience.

Bryan’s fundamentalist religious views. The locals must have agreed with the
result since it’s Bryan’s statue rather than defense attorney Clarence Darrow’s
    outside the courthouse.

Almost 90 years after the trial much of the South still doesn’t
teach evolution as science, and not only as it pertains to humans. ...

... Mountain this trip instead of staying at the marina since we had just fueled and pumped above Chattanooga. It is one of my favorite places to drop anchor due to the vista. The lake is wide, the mountains are high and a train passes around the base of Racoon Mountain. It looks just like a toy train it is so far away. This place has the added advantage of being right around the corner from the next lock.
