We turned west on I-70 in Washington, PA as we had had enough of the US-40 traffic. We stopped in Wheeling, WV at the information center to get some info and use the facilities. Someday I want to camp here and explore Wheeling and the area for a few days as this city is very intriguing sitting on the banks of the Ohio River.

... for country roads! The cloudy day grew warmer (back to T-shirts) and more humid, and we came through a couple of hard rain showers. Crossed the Ohio River into Ohio at Marietta (in one of those rains) and poked around the town some, where many streets are paved in bricks - beautiful big old homes on tree lined streets, Marietta College, and lots of Methodist and Lutheran churches.

... try most of it---lol. There were several people there that I knew from the past and many more to meet - really had a large turnout. A fun part was that a Dixieland Band was playing at a picnic next to us and provided music all afternoon. Very good! The girls and I get a little bored backstage...alot...and sometimes we just act stupid. We decided to try to come up with the best outfit we can create using a yellow belt and whatever else we can find from our own costume peices. What do you think? Who won?

But John Glenn did....no offense but that name doesn't exactly sound prestigious. Muskingum College is located in New Concord, OH, which is Michael's next stop. They are hauling an empty trailer right now. Interestingly enough, they went through West Manchester on the way (we live in North Manchester).

Our store today was right next to a Coldstone Creamery so after work we took the boys over there for a special treat. They loved it so much! They thought it was so cool to watch their icecream be mixed right in front of them. The icecream was delicious too!
