    ... Garden Club for 2 weeks and from the Pilgrimage Garden Club for the next 2 weeks.

    Interesting note: Several of the houses we visited had pictures of their family members who have been queen, king, or court in any year since 1932. Clearly, this is a huge honor for them and for their families.

    ... It was built by Gerard Bandon, son of the first native-born governor of Mississippi. It has the expected large porch with columns and large rooms with high ceilings. It’s furnished with lovely antiques from the period, but is not overdone. The family who owns it lives in the lower level mostly below ground and uses the upper levels for a bed and breakfast, weddings and events.

    I have absolutely NOTHING to say. Today was a boring day of driving. We decided to forgo Beale Street and Graceland as really bad weather was predicted for Memphis and after seeing news this evening it was a good choice. We are now south of Jackson MS other than that I have not a clue where we are. The computer filled in the location above. Working our way home. See you soon..........
