... in the depths of Uniteds luggage pit. Much later that day, we are informed there has been succes and the luggage has been retrieved! Only to be informed the plane will now have to be reweighed for balance after losing a sixty pound gal and what must be her massive amounts of luggage....bloody hell why don't you repaint the feckin airplane while your at it! A full two hours later with a lovely sunset in the works we once again hear the request to buckle up ...

Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

... We had a great view of the window into the water and saw a Labrador going for broke through the waves, he was surfing later with his owner on a surfboard. We ordered between us an entree to share called a Shrimp sensation which was, fries, tempura shrimp, coconut shrimp, breaded shrimp and steamed shrimp in the shell and the sauces were hot sauce which tasted like a wasabi and worsthershire sauce type, Japanese soy type sauce and my favourite was the marmalade sauce. ...

As a closing note, you also might be surprised to know that we don’t use Matt’s wheel chair much at all. Bathroom runs at gas stations and the hotel stops are great opportunities for Matt to walk and get some exercise. People in general are very kind and helpful and it lends a smidgen of credibility to the smirks we get when presenting Ricky the official emotional aide dog at the front desk.

... this morning and could not believe all the bugs we picked up.
