Took hotel shuttle to universal studios, warm and sunny. Relived our youth. Went on all rides, even scary ones, minimal queues. Enjoyed studio tour, saw psycho, Jaws, Jurassic park, set town scenes. Did Simpsons ride, Minions, shrek, revenge of the mummy, still building Harry Potter, transformers, water world show, very spectacular, loved it. Great views of the hills and valley, enormous. Returned to hotel ...

... using my pass. My favourite ride was The Jurassic Park flume ride. It had something like a 30 metre drop and it was fantastic. Prior to the drop at the end there was some sort of technical difficulty which meant we were stuck still in a darkened room with wild dinosaurs on the loose and flashing lights as other boats banked up behind us. When the ride ended Matilda was in tears but we discovered we could go again due to the small delay. So Darcy and I went ...
