... then went up to the Mission Santa Barbara for a visit there. It is quite large and also suffered some damage in 1926. It had a super laundry area which I reckon would have competed with the Glasgow Steamies! We set off South again . The beaches all looked great and there were 7 oil platforms out in the bay. ... When Chis told me he thought it might be my worst nightmare I thought he might be exaggerating. Plus I need some shorts. ... tan!! Which was a booth job, never had one of them before and the guy explaining it to me was frigging Mexican or something so I didn't really know what he was saying to me!!
So I am currently sitting here on the floor of my hostel waiting for my tan to dry before I shower, I still have another 2 hours so I am thing I'll just sleep in it!!
