We finally come around a bend and there it is, the Highway 7 bridge.
The Pruitt take out is just around the corner. There is a sign at the take out that says "Pruitt Landing, Take Out Here." It is about 5:pm and the next take out is Hasty which is another 6 miles down river.

Visiting our friends Dionne, Andy and Squirt has been the highlight of our trip. We headed south out of St. Louis on the I-44 before getting off and exploring some rural routes in the Ozarks.

Ten Days to Texas
On this long, challenging bicycle journey, I am currently 120 miles, or 3 days west of Kansas. There I will turn south for another 2 or 3 days to knock off Oklahoma and Arkansas on my way to Texarkana at the Texas state line.
