The River rats 4 day down the river

... a few miles and then it might not do it for 20-30miles. Every time we stop I check the radiator water level and add some water. It is not getting too hot but when I run around 47 mph it the foaming seems to happen more often. I picked up some distilled water. So we drained the radiator and then flushed it with water from a tap and then added the Distilled water. We will test it tomorrow. We hit Bo's Hollow, Arkers Ferry and St Louis tomorrow. No pictures today Good ...

... were great, mostly AR-21N and MO-86E. And we almost made it, until we reached the top of one of the mountains, and it didn't as much rain, as we drove into a low hanging cloud and got wet. But the rain cleared up just as we were arriving in Branson, and the sun actually began to pop out!

... which sounded like great fun, but requires a change of clothes and shoes as some time is spent wading through water, and then some time is spent crawling through the red clay. Just a little too rugged with our limited clothing resources on the bike.

Visiting our friends Dionne, Andy and Squirt has been the highlight of our trip. We headed south out of St. Louis on the I-44 before getting off and exploring some rural routes in the Ozarks.

Ten Days to Texas

On this long, challenging bicycle journey, I am currently 120 miles, or 3 days west of Kansas. There I will turn south for another 2 or 3 days to knock off Oklahoma and Arkansas on my way to Texarkana at the Texas state line.
