    Headed for the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum in West Branch, Iowa. Passing lots and LOTS of corn fields. Reminds me of traveling in Iowa while working on research projects for Altarum Institute - but now I can just enjoy the scenery.

    Last night we stayed at the Illiniwek Forest Preserve Campground in Hampton, Illinois. Very cool campground on the Mississippi River. I've posted a picture on this blog of the campground.

    ... out bang, bang. Then they started rapid firing, then it sounded like an automatic gun. Nobody coming or going seem concerned, so I guess it happens a lot. I do know I wouldn't want to try to rob the place....Just sayin...

    As we got ready for the next day, Randy was busy cooking us a phenomenal breakfast burrito to help us get started. They then took us back to our campsite so we could drop off our luggage on the charter semi, and we were off again shortly before 7 am.

    ... extender on our antenna that Bob had bought. Yea! It should help us a bit with Wifi connection...we will see.
    At any rate, we are now about 10 miles north of the service center in a place called, Walnut Grove RV Camp. We are right on a lake and have a great pull through spot.
    Will drive to Rochester/Marion KOA tomorrow and pick up our kayak on July 2. Will see when the windshield thing happens.
