Headed for the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum in West Branch, Iowa. Passing lots and LOTS of corn fields. Reminds me of traveling in Iowa while working on research projects for Altarum Institute - but now I can just enjoy the scenery.

Last night we stayed at the Illiniwek Forest Preserve Campground in Hampton, Illinois. Very cool campground on the Mississippi River. I've posted a picture on this blog of the campground.

Our route today headed south to Hudson and then headed easterly to LaPorte City, Mount Auburn, Vinton, Shellsburg, ...

At any rate, we are now about 10 miles north of the service center in a place called, Walnut Grove RV Camp. We are right on a lake and have a great pull through spot.
Will drive to Rochester/Marion KOA tomorrow and pick up our kayak on July 2. Will see when the windshield thing happens.

See how far we get tonight. At least there are no storms, so far, like last night. Kody has been such a good girl... Sleeping on the bed, when we were in ...
