Left El Dorado, Arkansas pretty early and did a big day today - travelled 530 miles - (850 kms) to a city called Chillicothe in Missouri. On the way we stopped at a gas station at Pine Bluff in Arkansas and they have a Stop n Shop for all your huntin & fishin gear - guns, ammo - you name it - they got it! Had drinks at Applebee's when we arrived in Chillicothe - a pretty good chain restaurant over ...

There was nothing special about today. It was the same old rolling hills and wind. The wind was about 20 mph into my face and the hills seemed to be rising and rising. So of course decide as there is no good restaurants in the area (except Mexican) I decided to do ...

I'm so thankful we made it to the reunion this year! I hope we can come back each year. I think it really is a good thing when family members come together, even if only for a day.

Day 3: Impromptu Family Gathering in Missouri

Day 3: We awoke to another great breakfast thanks to Pat. We got ready for the day and packed the car. We headed over to Aunt Karen's. We spent some time at the park, then went on a short walking tour of Lenox. After lunch, we visited grandmother at the Care Center again. She seemed to be having a more difficult day, which saddened me. I'm grateful that she is so well cared for by the nursing staff and my nurturing aunt.

We drove back south to Missouri. The kids had grown ...
