      ... to be very dog friendly from what I have read. I look forward to seeing it. Then I think we will stay in Amarillo on Saturday and get home on Sunday. Gotta be there to greet our favorite brother-in-law on Monday. Tom told people at church we would be home on Saturday, but I really don't want to drive 10-11 hours on Saturday. I will break it to him tomorrow evening. =)

      ... with them. The pilot was a former commercial airline pilot who came back home to Pagosa Springs to raise his family. He was an outstanding balloon pilot and very informative about the area as we flew.

      They were short crew members since both their balloons were up (they also have a big 12 person balloon that was being used that morning for a 1/2 hour ride) so we got to help ...

      One of the most bizarre sights was the Balancing Rocks - These massive boulders (about the size of our motorhome) are perched on little spindly columns over 10ft high. You'd figure the shear weight alone would crumble them.

      Another curious phenomenon are the Hanging Gardens located just north of Page. After hiking for a 1/2 mile along sandy trails, we started climbing up slick rocks where the trail disappeared. We ...
