Checked into the hotel by 1:30 pm., 82 degrees and partly cloudy. We found the room to be THE nicest so far. There really wasn't anything we wanted to see in Casper, so decided to chill the rest of the day. ... and now included lightning, lots of wind and more hail. When I pulled over at a pull off that had a covered shelter to let the hail pass I met a gentleman from Washington state that was riding a recumbent bike from Washington to Maine. This trip was on his bucket list as would take 4 months with a route that takes him through 28 states. After about an hour I got back on the road and arrived at my hotel around 2000. What a long day.
Another day of traveling. Today we are headed to Billings, MT. On our way we stopped at Little Bighorn Battlefield. Something we were always taught in History was about Custer's last stand. We drove on a 5-mile tour that shows where this battle was fought. We took lots of pictures that I will post later ...
