The waiters - who appeared fairly used to this - quickly ushered us all inside, brought our tables in, and carried on as if nothing had happened. It was quite funny. Hi guys Just a quick update via the phone to let you know that we are safely settled into The Caves in Jamaica. It is, as you'd expect, beautiful. Yesterday's travel was a bit stressful - we had a manic/comical dash through Miami to reach our connecting flight - but it all worked out OK, and we arrived here at 10.30pm last night. I spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. I walked the beach several times and I've been annoyed by the "farmers" and the like on a regular basis. They are sometimes aggressive. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.
