      ... decided that if I am going to get 12 days of vacation, then damn it, I'm gonna use all those days for fun! I am not blowing two whole days of my first great vacation behind the wheel of a car!

      #3. (The real reason) It's the only place we could afford. Less money wasted on the room (See #1) is more money to do fun stuff!

      ... weeks... Planes confirmed and hotels are booked.... Time to git and go . Went to otter house to see some music... Jay Starling was playing.... Line at the bar was so long I left at setbreak. Not because it was crowded just that the bar was 4 deep and only 1 ...

      ... phew! I guess the biggest difference between this delay and the last delay was that there is only ONE flight to Santiago each evening but there are PLENTY of flights to DC in the course of the day... thank goodness!

      We made it back to our Nation's capital without a hitch. We were welcomed by a sunny, 78 degree morning with no humidity - perfection :) I came home, showered, and fell into my bed and took a nice long 3 hour nap! YAY
