Jenny had organised a lovely day for us showing us her town that is full of history. We started off visiting local markets and with a yummy breakfast out at a very cool little cafe.

It also reminds me of taking my daughters to the State Fair when they were little and hearing Dulcimer Dan play in the Village of Yesteryear building. We arrived at our hotel, checked out some shopping nearby, and then had dinner before heading to the historic Old Town Fredericksburg. I'm looking forward to see how well I can speak/ understand French in Paris. I take French 1 at my High School, and I use Rosetta Stone at home... So, fingers crossed I don't end up looking like a fool. (I most likely will though!)

... phew! I guess the biggest difference between this delay and the last delay was that there is only ONE flight to Santiago each evening but there are PLENTY of flights to DC in the course of the day... thank goodness!
We made it back to our Nation's capital without a hitch. We were welcomed by a sunny, 78 degree morning with no humidity - perfection :) I came home, showered, and fell into my bed and took a nice long 3 hour nap! YAY
