We were picked up by a driver organised by Lara and taken to Newark Airport where we had a short flight to Richmond Virginia.

... and a snack, we made our way to the gate and on our plane. As I sit here and type, I am 30,000 feet in the air and just enjoyed a lunch of beef and vegetables (well, I use the word “enjoy” very lightly… it’s airplane food after all). So far, the flight has been great for the two hours we’ve been on.

I'm looking forward to see how well I can speak/ understand French in Paris. I take French 1 at my High School, and I use Rosetta Stone at home... So, fingers crossed I don't end up looking like a fool. (I most likely will though!)
