Today was the perfect day for my day off. It was pouring rain all day, so I was able to sit inside and learn so much about the human body. It seems a lot harder than I thought it was. Now don't get me wrong, I didn’t think it would be easy, but it will give me some good work to do. Around 2:00, I moved over into the house to bake cookies and to ...

... as had been made out, though my experiences in Asia may have helped. By US standards it was certainly a dive. However it was clean enough in the main areas that counted for me, i.e the bed. No lockers but the dorms are only two bunk beds big. That could be considered a moot point though when in the day anyone can walk in and around. Good quality matresses though. ... Greg had prepared the T-bone steak and what I would call a "gratin dauphinois", and we ate, again ;-) After dinner, Mitchell gave us a wonderful magic show, with coins that disappear and cards that suddenly appear, amazing! I was impressed!

Finally, we cleant up the table and played a game of Pictionary, always fun!

It was like 2330hr when we were back home, and ready to collapse in our beds.

Yes, this was a really a very special Christmas!

Fred and Charlene, so happy to see them again!

... one hour, I am at the Commuter train stop, Beaverton TC. To see that the commuter train only rides at rush hour!!

There I was, at 11 am, and the first train to Wilsonville was at 04:05 p.m.!
No sweat, I started to walk around, thinking, there must be some place to eat somewhere not far, we're in the USA! And yes, in no time I found a strip mall, and a Red Robin ;-) I stayed there until 03:30 pm, ...
