... left wheel trying to balance the trailer! Camping fee included entrance to the ghost town so we wandered through it in the morning, it was really hokey and dead as a door nail...just like a real ghost town! It was built up in the 60's as a tourist attraction by the Knotts family, and was probably fun in its day but it is sadly outdated and cheesy now.

After again taking advantage of the exceptional hospitality by wharfing down a slap up meal in the evening, the time had come for our midnight gig. We were greeted by the stage manager who when he wasn’t fulfilling his role as a stage manager, earned his money as a convincing Mick Jagger impressionist. Although physically he was spot on, when we asked him to sing us a tune, he was found wanting vocally.

... mixing pot of all sorts of people. Here, the pierced, tattooed, dredlock-headed, combat boot-stomping crowd blend with the Gucci bag-carrying, Louboutin-wearing, Range Rover-driving clan. It is all good in this hood. Our stops included Portland-produced Moonstruck Chocolates (my roommate is the consummate choco-holic and he'd never forgive me for not sending him a box after I bragged about it), 3 Monkeys, Dazzle, Gilt, and Ipnosi.
... Greg had prepared the T-bone steak and what I would call a "gratin dauphinois", and we ate, again ;-) After dinner, Mitchell gave us a wonderful magic show, with coins that disappear and cards that suddenly appear, amazing! I was impressed!
Finally, we cleant up the table and played a game of Pictionary, always fun!
It was like 2330hr when we were back home, and ready to collapse in our beds.

There I was, at 11 am, and the first train to Wilsonville was at 04:05 p.m.!
No sweat, I started to walk around, thinking, there must be some place to eat somewhere not far, we're in the USA! And yes, in no time I found a strip mall, and a Red Robin ;-) I stayed there until 03:30 pm, ...
