    Chris hasn't been feeling the greatest the last few days so it was time to go to the doc. Even he agreed! It was moving day so we packed up, drove to the next campground, a quick set up and then to the doc. Without an MRI it's not 100% conclusive but the doc figures he has diverticulitis. He has 2 different antibiotics to take and his diet is to be fluids for the next 2 ...

    ... many broken ankles and hoping mine doesn’t become one of them. Another notable were the cemeteries – the oldest in Boston. Noteworthy burials include one of the Pilgrims from the Mayflower, John Adams, 2nd US president, John Hancock and Samuel Adams who both signed the declaration of independence, Paul Revere and Benjamin Franklin’s parents.

    ... books, and other random things strewn about it and my suitcases are sitting around the floor completely empty. I'll spend my last day packing and watching the pats today. It just seems so real that the next time I wake up, I will be leaving my house for a very long time and the time after that I will be in Madrid! I will fall asleep somewhere above the Atlantic Ocean and wake up in Madrid! That is if I even sleep... Good morning America ...

    ... we were ready for that. John tamed down his act a bit (at least volume-wise) because for one student who was hard of hearing in this second group, John wore a special clip-on microphone that interacted with an implant the student had so he could hear John. As soon as John had it on, he spoke into the microphone ("Can you hear me?") and the student immediately raised his hand, laughing.

    ... A winter scout… well prepared! I did hear her fussing and muttering something about all the things you need to think about just to go out and have some fun…. I'm certain I heard mutterings about how much easier it is back home in Noosa. Papa Bear would be pleased, "that's my girl!"
