... again.

As they pulled out from the driveway last night, I wanted to cry. While I'm excited to make our way cross country there's another part of me that wants to stay home. Once again FaceTime will have to get us through!

We're headed back to the casa tomorrow and will be there just long enough to repack and hit the road by Monday afternoon. Sure gonna miss the cool pines of northern AZ.

Glad we all made it up the mountain safe and sound.

Beyond its carrot moniker, Grants is also home to a mining museum, which is next to Historic Route 66. The uranium mining boom here lasted until the 1980s, when the collapse of mining nearly ruined the town’s economy. In Grants, I turn off I-40 / Route 66, and head south on ...

Much cooler today, in the mid 80's and overcast
It only sprinkled when I was filling up the car.
Salt River Canyon is spectacular but requires driver concentration. I am glad it was a short day.
Tomorrow, I am aiming for Cortez, CO. for the weekend
Today's lunch was forgetable ...
