... said "Look it's raining - you can see it coming." Sure enough, a WALL OF WATER was quickly approaching across the field toward us. ... then went back to the End. The band that we went to see was absolutely amazing! I loved them! It was a 10 man band and they had a trumpet, trombone, and sax player! I don't see this enough. Adam always tells me about a bar on his side of town called Foobar, so that's where we decided to go next. We were walking outside to go catch our Uber and I was having a hard time keep my balance (because of the shoes and uneven sidewalk, not the alcohol)... ...

We checked out another place that had a band but was pretty empty. The band seemed like they had no intention of actually playing anything and the overall vibe was pretty depressing so we shot out of there just as the band finally started a song.

Went back into Whiskey Bent that we had been in the day before to finish off the night. There was a pretty great band with a woman lead ...

... all the way up from Florida and were mostly sleeping under bridges, true vagabonds. Needless to say, three guys, two girls and three scruffy dogs (who offered to swap my pack for theirs) didn't win to the prospect of checking into the hostel and the possibility of a shower... I spent the morning exploring Broadway and wandering up to the Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park where I was told, a good farmers market.
