Hit some traffic in Dallas but still made pretty good time arriving in Fort Worth around 5:00 having left the Embassy Suites in new orleans at a couple minutes to 8:00 in the morning. i stopped outside of Dallas and booked the Marriott Renaissance in ft. Dallas wants to become the most hiker/biker friendly city in the nation I hiked about 5 miles in the 90/90 heat/humidity and then was rewarded with a cold beer at the Katy Trail Ice House, where giant fans blow mist over the chairs and tables just off the trail.
