... Lake in Cypress National Preserve next to Everglades National Park. There are no services (water, electric or sewer) but we are so happy to be out in the wilderness with no major road or train nearby! ... of the Everglades. There were tourist spots every mile or so offering Alligator shows and fan boat rides. I guess it was too late in the afternoon for these as they were empty. Deserted. ... s fifth-richest city in terms of purchasing power, and nearly everyone was laden with shopping. The outlet shops are great, and most had specials, even on clearance items, so everyone can look stylish. I went to the Coach outlet and bought a nice red handbag at 70% off.
Got back to our condo about 5pm, and I had a Bud light and Terry made himself a cup of tea.
