          Na het ontbijt zijn we uitgecheckt. Bij Sixt zijn we onze huurauto gaan ophalen, een Chevrolet Impala. We zijn naar het Miami Seaquarium gereden.           ... Lake in Cypress National Preserve next to Everglades National Park. There are no services (water, electric or sewer) but we are so happy to be out in the wilderness with no major road or train nearby! An alligator would come to sit in the sun on a patch of grass just in front of our campsite. Night, night, sleep tight, mind the alligators don't bite!!

All those swamp people type tv shows that now dominate Australian TV only talk about alligators, and I wouldn't think you'd want to be in the water with an alligator like they are if there's a chance there's a crocodile in there too.
