... where to go. I had looked in my book and at the map before I left the hotel so I knew there was a point of interest called flamingo near the coast, right at the end of the main road I was on. ... I stopped for 5 minutes. Figured of wasted enough time just getting here and there was no waves, so I would get the same excitement by swimming in a pool. I left and headed south. I wanted to follow the coast as much as I could before heading on the interstate south east but of course the GPS was having a fit. I also wanted to try and avoid this toll that the GPS said was on my route. When I finally left the coast for the interstate, I hit the toll, of course it's ...
... little wander to pick up some bit and pieces, and then unpacked us in the new room and sent off the laundry. Very soon Derek will be back and we will be heading off for an pre-conference dinner. So I'll have some more to report soon.
Back after the dinner. We had a very nice time with some international arbitrators. The food was a bit disappointing though. So we compensated with nightcap cocktails back at the hotel.
Lastly, we did the Cowhorn Orchid trek
into the Coastal Prairie.
