    ... Quartzite, and it was to early for the big show, so we just took on some fuel and LP gas. We then motored on over to Indio, CA and boon docked in a casino. They had a wonderful buffet and we spent a restful night in their parking lot.

    Next day found us on the road and in the maze called the LA freeway system...The good thing is most of the roads are 4 lanes wide and easy to navigate. I enjoyed the scenery as we motored along ...

    We spent two thirds of our driving day in Texas. It's a good thing it’s such an interesting state. The scenery gradually changed from grasslands to rolling rocky hills to flat desert. By the time we drove out of El Paso, and into New Mexico, it was a complete desert landscape. El Paso itself is enormous and the closest we came to Mexico without crossing the border.     ... weather is year round.

    Once the water play was done & the kids were cold, we all got changed & headed out to try out both of the play structure that were near by. The kids seemed to enjoy playing on both structures but Jon probably enjoyed the 2nd structure more because he chose to climb a rope pyramid & went all the way to top. :)
