        Back around 1000 A.D. thru around 1600 A.D. most of AZ was traveled by native people... These are the people that lived in the Pueblo’s and in some cases before they broke into the Indian Tribes that we associate with this part of the country...

        ... Quartzite, and it was to early for the big show, so we just took on some fuel and LP gas. We then motored on over to Indio, CA and boon docked in a casino. They had a wonderful buffet and we spent a restful night in their parking lot.

        Next day found us on the road and in the maze called the LA freeway system...The good thing is most of the roads are 4 lanes wide and easy to navigate. I enjoyed the scenery as we motored along ...

        We spent two thirds of our driving day in Texas. It's a good thing it’s such an interesting state. The scenery gradually changed from grasslands to rolling rocky hills to flat desert. By the time we drove out of El Paso, and into New Mexico, it was a complete desert landscape. El Paso itself is enormous and the closest we came to Mexico without crossing the border.         ... her metal scooter for missy to ride around the block a couple of times which was very kind of Kat. Missy & daddy came back & then we chatted for a bit before the kids said that they were hungry so we started getting lunch ready. Dan ended up making us some lovely grilled cheeses with some veg & fruit to round it off. Once we were all done with our meal we did some clean up & then we changed into our swimsuits so we could go to the pool.
