    ... pulled over and I got behind the wheel and drove for the next 100 miles or so.

    We arrived at the campground about 2 pm and got set up. Once again we decided not to unhook the car.     ... called Hermann. Bob and I riding we have lost Dutch Paul again. We arrive in Hermann both our bikes on petrol fumes having covered about 230 miles since we last filled up.

    ... Detroit. There was so much construction we couldn't really get to the arch or back on the freeway...needless to say, been there done that, don't need to do it again. Pulled into Sikeston at 5pm. That's 730 miles road time. We got to meet the old smoky man who ran the campground and played harmonica with his singing dog.     ... its tires and took a while to get parked. After parking and because the jump was 120 miles, we didn’t get to the new lot before needing to find the Excursion, packing it up with laundry and taking off again. Emilie came with us even though she didn’t have laundry to do but wanted to get food. Fortunately, we found a Chinese buffet on the way to the laundromat!
