4 more days... As I sit in my room trying to cram the next three months of my life into a backpack I'm feeling a lot of things. As for now, I am sitting in the Maplewood library where they have free wifi, and after that I will resume my walking. Tomorrow it will be a full traveling day, up early and bus to NYC, there bus to La Guardia airport, flight to Portland with a stop in Chicago, and in Portland, one night in the hostel I was last a year ago. Friday I will take the commuter train to reach Wilsonville, where Charlene and Fred will pick me up!

  • Gallop Cafe, Denver - I decided to treat myself to a sit down dinner and drinks. Good, healthy food and fun people to talk with - including a 62 year old technical writer who claims to have held 36 jobs in the last 25 years. Interesting person!
  • Overall, a great start to our journey. I am very excited to have Geula and the boys join me later tonight. I eel relaxed and at peace - will try to make this feeling ...

... and a whole heap of cafes and ice cream shops, heaven. After a bit of wandering, we headed back through the park to the house where we managed to skype Cat's parents before having lunch. We then decided to spend the afternoon relaxing in front of the TV watching a few films. Later we enjoyed a meal of bbq ribs with Ben and Lori until Rob came home from work. We then chatted for a while and then went off to bed.
