On the bus at 8am early start so we can get the bus lane into New York....apparently it's only open certain times of the day. Booked tickets to see The Jersey Boys show tomorrow night with 5 of the nice ladies....very exciting! Drove through the Lincoln tunnel...left New Jersey behind and welcomed Manhattan in New York State. After a short drive around the sites we took a boat ride around the Hudson River where we got a birds eye view of the cityscape ...

Our trip back to NJ was a much smoother trip than our trip to Italy. We had a short drive followed by a 9-hour direct flight to NJ and a short drive to Hsing-ay's parents’ home. Our trip to Venice involved transferring at Frankfurt, 2 trains, a boat, and a long walk with luggage. Anything would feel easier than that.
