... actually didn't have a room. She told us that they had a 2nd hostel where they booked us and we could go there...which of course was a ways back across the city. Annoyed Daniel and I got on the subway and set off to find our new spot. ... looking people who seem to pass the day by staring at the tourist at best, picking their pockets or predatorily 'selling' something to the passerby. The worst are the (insert bad name here) who predate on the tourist who i trying to obtain a simple train ticket from the ticket machines at the central train station called termini. They hope that by 'helping' you to the right ticket that they can then pick your pockets. There are dozens of these characters here ...
