... from Patong where the excitement is happening.
We have been eating at a little market down the road, they open around 5pm and sell fresh fruits and cook the meat and seafood in front of you. We were brave and ate there and it was fine!
At that market is where the little piggy lives, he is so cute, the photos probably don't do him justice, but he is so clean and healthy looking, not like the dogs around here.

Terry asked, on the basis of the reasons below, whether a deduction could be considered: 1) Cold eggs for breakfast every morning - TRUE 2) No Museli this morning - TRUE 3) I had cut my foot on the periphery of their land - NOT QUITE TRUE. His argument seemed a little weak, even to me, so I was absolutely GOBSMACKED when ...

Up and at me early as we are to be picked up by the tour bus at 8 to visit the Phi Phi islands. We open the curtains and the monsoon rains are teeming down so it's a mad dash to the restaurant for breaky when the rain stops so we cross fingers it will stay that way for our day out. The bus picks us up and drops us at the Marina for our cruise. We pass a yacht that is half sunk in the bay. All the little islands jutting out of the ocean look from the distance like ships or houses they are ...

... that I am on Phuket as it is not really my scene; Over developed (they have a Starbucks and a Crocs store), hedonistic and crawling with families and dirty perverts with their hired "girlfriends." However, I am here to hit the waves. The monsoon season on the west coast of Thailand brings fewer tourists and more waves. I am going to try and surf for a few days here and then move on to other locations in the south. I must say after Sri Lanka is it rather liberating here. I ...
