In Patong Beach you can see, do, and buy anything. Sounds good, but it's very cheesy and all a bit wrong. The beach was great, very surfy. The plastic bags that kept wrapping around our legs were a little off-putting. The night life was insane.
Phuket, Thailand mandyleebeeAh Phuket…. You couldn’t have possibly made a worse first impression… I thought West Kambalda was the a$$hole of the universe, but Phuket I take my hat off to you, the title is yours. The rank smell of burst sewerage pipes, dead dogs on the street, flashing neon saying “Welcome to Patong”, the whole street taken over by big black powerlines and desperate Aussie/British men sleazing onto anything with two legs and a heartbeat… Maybe it ...
Phuket, Thailand caselma... our suits and walk to the beach. The water is super warm and we rent two chairs and an umbrella which is supposed to be $4/day but because I forgot the money and had to go back to the room to get it, the kid never does come back to asks us for the money. The water is so clear, shallow, and serene that you can just sit in the water and watch the world go by. Doug catches a pervert snapping pics and we watch all the other ...
Phuket, Thailand douglouise... konnte.
Ko Phi Phi, Thailand julimanu... lots of Tequila with the owners (Andrea, Nico and his Thai wife) which was a really good laugh. The next day was written off as you can imagine and we only left our room to try to call our Gran as it was her birthday ... but she wasn't even in! Tuesday came ... St. Patrick's Day ... a big day for Ashling and Paula. They were planning an all day drinking session, but as we were still feeling a little ropey and had some business to attend to we said we would join them ...
Phuket, Thailand sistersontour... and helpful a wonderful place to visit. The Malaysian girls would giggle, that's how Terri and I judge a county how happy the people are. We would visit Malaysia again many times if we could. Took the boat then a bus to a place called Phucket, pronounced fhewket not fuc*it. Phucket is an island that you can get to by bridge. Could not believe how many tourists there were, 10 times as many as in Malaysia. Stayed downtown in a hotel on the 4th floor big room could play ...

Phuket, Thailand princesscheryl... should have gone with highlights and grown slowly bonder, so I went to another lady and died it dark brown/black. This was a far nicer experience as it was out of town and she was very sweet. While I waited with the colour she showed me two books of the Tsunami, and while flicking through one she pointed at a photo of a baby, and then flipped the page back one and indicated it was her in the photo of the family with the baby. Really full on, she was pregnant and due in two ...
Koh Phi Phi, Thailand shanemilli... right at 200 THB. It turned out to be the best foot massage I've had so far. It was nice to relax after having to haul our packs this morning. We thought we would walk along the beach after the massage. There is a large limestone cliff at the end of the beach separating Ao Nang beach from Railay beach, which you can only get to by long tail boat. The water was pretty rough today, so there weren't any long tail boats ...
Ao Nang, Thailand jesseandzoeOh well... it was my turn to stuff up with the travel arrangements, Jess. We went to the pier at Phuket to catch the 1.5 hr ferry to Koh Phi Phi where Garry had booked us into Zeavola a top resort on the North tip of Phi Phi island. When he had looked on line for accommodation, this was the only place that had room and we didn't want to risk showing up on the island and not getting accommodation which can happen on Phi Phi in ...
