... China, I can tell you these at least should have been on the list if they were not). Anyway, it made me laugh, so I had to share.

Finally, I had to move on from the market because I was starting to feel like I would pass out from hunger. I wandered up to the Central Market, where there are a bunch of shops and restaurants and stuff (and air conditioning – it is freakin’ hot here AND incredibly humid). I had two ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia forbes.thompson... grabbed a vegetarian dinner (complete with soy milk) from a hawker stand and sat down at a little table to watch the action. I bought some bags of fresh mango slices - so delicious and less than $0.50 each!

Saturday morning I got up early and bought a ticket for the hop-on hop-off city tour as it seemed like a good way to see a lot in a short period of time. I started out at the famous Petronas Towers ...
Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia jessicadawson... prison - the main difference being that I am free from my prison...the prison being one of my routine, my job, the rules and customs of my country (and even my comfort and happiness, which is the most insidious prison of all) and the resultant effect of all this on my mind, which I am happy to say is still young, vibrant, powerful and adaptable. I feel mentally in my prime right now, and physically too, frankly :) Anyway, I do not have the missing vertebrae ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia jamiemeasuresWell, here in KL on a quiet Sunday!! I Pretty much didn´t do anything at all due a powerful hangover who kept me sleeping almost all day!

So far I have discovered a few interesting things:

Malay people are TOTALLY OBSESED WITH FOOD! I mean, they don´t say, "Hello, how are you" they would go straight for a “have you eaten already?” there is a mixture of people living in this country, It is like 65 ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia germain... We wanted to go to the look-out but you must arrive at 7am to get a ticket and return at a given time later in the day...only to go to the 41st floor. Brian did go one morning to try and get tickets, but after waiting in line for 30 minutes and not moving he gave up. I don't blame him, where did all these people come from? Besides in our hotel, we saw very very few our travelers (Westerners) anywhere on the streets.<br ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia unbound... The guy that greeted me upstairs was running down the spiral staircase jubilantly. “So, you’re from Canada?” he said looking at the book. “I’m Bachir.” He held out his hand. “I work here.” Then he grabbed something from behind the desk past the desk clerk and ran upstairs again. I slowly made my way up.

In the dorm, I had the top bunk. The aircon was blasting and I was ...
Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia katt.busby... Due to this, a large opposition grew, which is why Malaysiakini was founded and why it has been successful. In contrast, there has been no big political event that has upset the public in Singapore which is why there is no large opposition there.

The food in Malaysia was also awesome as well.... I think that's about it for Malaysia. We were only there for 3 days, and I don't want to bore you. I still have so much more to catch up on!
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia sferst... then volunteered for the floor but I couldn't let her do that ... could I.... In the morning we received our final complimentary meal for breakfast. I bet you 100 Malaysian Ringits you couldn't guess what we where served.... That's right chicken Shepherds pie! For Breakfast !! Not sure what image the Malaysians have of life in the UK. Still we'd paid for it so we ate the lot and I have to say it was pretty tasty! Once we had landed the first thing to hit us was the heat ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia shelleyandsimmo... died down. This was just the beginning of the wet weather, it rained everyday we were there. China Town was great for all the fakes, we managed to negioate a price for a rolex and chanel watch (that surprisingly still work), I had to drag Robbie away from spending all our money on the stalls. That night Robbie came close to the Asian wildlife, a late night trip to the local 7/11 was marred by his close encounter with huge cockroaches and mutant rats that apparently chased ...
