Took the Star Ferry across to Kowloon, waked along the Avenue of Stars. This was good but the only people we'd heard of was Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee but there's some fun places for photos. We got the metro up to the flower market and bird gardens. the flower market street was nice but the bird garden wasn't how we imagined, more like a bird food market and we wouldn't have gone to either if we had known what they were ...
Shanghai, Shaun the Sheep and Shenzhen
It was at 04:00 this morning when the wake-up call blasted in our ears and jolted us from sleep once more. We had 45 minutes to be ready and down in the hotel foyer to collect our "breakfast box" (as the dining room wasn't open at this unearthly hour) as the bus was due to leave at 5.00am to take us to Beijing Airport.

Ik kan je vertellen dat die geen kans heeft om van je neus te vallen. Dat ding gaat zo ...
Bonkers Honkers
... and a few other Brits who were in HK promoting the Olympics - next thing you know I had been swept up in the night and we headed to Lan Kwai Fong for a couple of vodka jelly syringes (I know, grow up Sprake!) before finding ourselves in Wan Chai where dancing on bars was witnessed (you can speculate if I participated but i'll simply point out the elevated angle of the photos). Successfully avoiding the hostesses I made my way home ...
