After a great breakfast and again pinching some Danish pastries for a snack later we were picked up by our local guide Yuka, I know, I had to chuckle when she introduced herself! Oh my, she's like a tiny whirlwind, very knowledgable and passional about her lovely city. God could she rabbit on! First stop Hong Kong Island via an underpass under the harbour. The island is far more affluent than Kowloon and is where all the amazing houses and luxury leisure outlets are, happy valley ...

    Day 3: July 3, 2014

Our last day in Hong Kong we slept till late, checked out at 11.00 and then just walked along the Nathan Road and adjacent streets. We also had a look at some electronics which was quite cheap in Hong Kong. Most stores claimed they were tax-free but sometimes it was hard to believe it.

... to me that they can costume them and then have a show, but it's also sad to me that she was dancing away with no one there to watch her! Ms. Pam showed us a couple pictures of President Obama's half-brother who lives in the area and comes once a week to the orphanage to teach piano lessons. There were also a couple of pics of Itzhac Perlman who had apparently been to the orphanage to teach violin lessons. We continued ...

The 7th Jan finally arrived and the first of our 12 flights landed us in Hong Kong. Quicker than Flash Gordon, Lou has her camera and wallet out ready to spend, while Jose is trying to pay for our bus fares in Swiss Francs! For a very quick stop over we've certainly spent a few dollars and now find ourselves trying to stay awake. Next stop....Zurich.
