Decent flight - comfortable and the usual high standards from Emirates and arrived in to the stand a little late as a result of a late departing flight. So have sat here for an hour or so at Bangkok catching up on emails. Watched Kidnapping Freddy Heineken on the first leg. Hadn't seen it before and was pretty good. Just the right length for the flight to Bangkok. Now the longer stretch through to ...

Next time somebody gives you flack about the rise of Asian schools over American/Western ones, remind them of that one time where you went to school for 7 hours. Oh, I mean every time. And then had enough time for 2-3 hour sports practices, and then an additional 4-5 hours of relaxation at home before the next day. That 130 point difference doesn't seem to be worth much now, does it?

... bear with me on them – they will have their very own entry. Now onto the voyage to Perth, Australia from Ottawa, Canada.

It was the dark of the moon on the 23rd of Jan…time for farewells to family and friends. Hugged my boys big time and saw my friends and work mates for the last time for a loooooong while. I was set to go.

The journey was long and arduous with little twists along the way. First I had a winter jacket on as I left ...
