see a car crash and the man himself. Quite a scoop, John and Jude could even be
seen in the crowd. Will have to see the movie next year to find out if they
ended up on the cutting room floor.

City Island: Bronx's Cape Cod & potter's field
... over this spotting. You'll see both of them in the photos.
Was an amazing day, amplified by the island's history and the chats we had with the locals who explained the significance of everything - including a local shop "hoarder" named John (aka Trader John) and this prison-like seafood restaurant we saw at the end of the city's strip. Definitely recommend a visit, though hope I have a few more adventures, now that it feels practically like summer out, to recommend as well...

Pre-departure Ponderings
... is no way that it is going to work out that way. Whereas, I fall back on something along the lines of ignorance is bliss and serendipity is on our side. While in reality these extreme views are a tad more moderate than summarized, the overall effect was that our differing approached balanced each other out, but not without testing the bounds of our patience and communication skills.
