... evening we had a super night with Cousin Dan and Sheila in their very nice village of Scotch Corner (I think a population of 350). After very sad good byes we are now back in Chamonix. It's always hard leaving Aunty Chris and Neville. Interesting for us, Chamonix felt like "coming home". The snow is further down the mountain, the trees are all golden and we are now off to watch NZ v Australia in the Grand Final. Go the Mighty All Blacks. ...

hills but this time backed by the distant mountains of ...

We ended up on a narrow road that took us back to town along a fast flowing river. Back in town we grabbed a quick snack from the bakery to tide us over on the return voyage. This time we hopped on the panoramic train, with large windows from the seat ...

... Langnau with a visit of the Kambly Buiscuit factory, Shallenberg 1170m and return to Bleiken, some 230 km in total.
Later on we took Monique's 2 horses for a walk to a lovely little pub, well know in the region. I was pleased to renew my acquaintance with the owners, Erwin and Barbara who spoiled us with quite a few glasses of wine.
We were guided back home ...
