... staying. The afternoon sightseeing was a bit brighter.. We caught the bus to Vevey, the home of Charlie Chaplin and the original company office of Nestle. The Nestle office is a huge mansion and now houses a food museum with lots of interactive displays, cooking classes, art works to do with food and a shop and cafe. Vevey is a pretty lakeside town not as touristy ...
... to check for cheese residue, the Swiss are very particular about keeping French cheese out of their country,) but disappointingly didn’t stamp our passports. I guess we’re only getting one new stamp out of this trip. Oh well.
For the most part, after the excitement of the morning, the rest of the day was mostly uneventful. We’re only staying in Lausanne for one night to break up the travel to Murren, so our hotel isn’t anything ...
