... Legs and bum seem to have less fat on them. Back is still a problem. Can be helped by having the lap belt of the rucksack very tight so that all the weight of the bag is taken on my hip bones rather than shoulders. Post that we wandered around the old town of Zermatt. It is a very beautiful car free alpine village with a lovely atmosphere and mountains surrounding . We walked to all the points of interest.
We had a chinese dinner which was horribly expensive.(Switzerland can be crazily expensive).
Post that we strolled back to our hotel and went to bed.

... Still the australian couple, but now also there was a father and son from the chicago area, and a boyfriend/girlfriend from pittsburgh. We had another lovely meal for a good price, and lots of discussions about health care in various countries. I now know that if I ever need surgery and can't afford it, Switzerland is one of the best, most affordable places to come. I think I may need to take a medical vacation sometime :-) And the hospital food here is apparently ...
