... no' I reply 'I bought my umbrella!' Ricardo then tells me I can just 'pretend to be Rihanna for a while Ella Ella Ella' and impromptu starts doing the umbrella dance behind the reception desk- hilarious!!!! After swiftly checking me in Ricardo then takes me back to Jerry the bell men who takes me to my garden view king size room. Jerry is so helpful pointing out directions as we walk and telling me information about the hotel, we get to the room & ...
"A vacation from vacation"
... beach the whole day and not get in the water even once...I had to turn myself into a siren to lure him into the sea with me...oh, wait! ...sirens were luring sailors out of the sea, not into the sea... I got my Greek mythology all confused!...I guess I was trying to turn into a mermaid then...but no matter - my success would always be short lived...

Week 2
... the beach, and the rest of our money at that bar.
It was a strange, sad, and sour way to finish up the trip.
Clearly, greed won over the better judgement of the people who worked there. Looking back, it makes sense now why not only that resort, For Real, was empty- but all of the other resorts were empty too.
Except for the SeaStar Inn- they were completely booked for the next few weeks on the day we checked out.

Swimming with Horses
Today was an excursion day. We booked a horseback riding tour through the hotel and waited in the gift store for the van.
Once rescued from the towels and t-shirts we were on our way to an ocean side stable and equestrian center where tourists can hire horses and the locals train for Polo.
Greg and I were promptly fitted with helmets and saddles, and given ...
The taxi guy thinks we are crazy!

After the find we talked for a while with the lady on the porch and proceeded to the next location.
Now the driver had to know. What is all this?
The next area was along a wall of rose bushes, ouch. The driver actually helped this time, we aren't so crazy now apparently. What we didn't know was that on the other side of the wall was the nude resort. Hmmmm.
