So I'm a little behind on my posts...but as most of you know, I'm coming home in 2 days!! So in honor of this, I'm going to do two posts today: Things I will miss/Things I will not miss.

that historically has existed between Haitians and Dominicans. If so,

... off the back of a truck. Goats are raised in town and the cows are walked into town every morning. The food is very good since its fresh and it is so cheep. A big meal of rice beans and meat costs 100 Pesos ($3.75 US). There are some strange food items as well. ... pay him he simply said in spanish, "you do a good thing and a good thing will come back to you." and refused to take our money. We explained to him that we call that karma, and paid him anyways. It was our first taste of the way life is outside the clay and coral walls of dominican cities. As we drove home with the sunsetting behind us, an hour late to return our bikes, the smiles never left our face, not until our eyes closed for a long night of sleep.
