... swims (or floats, or rests on the bottom) in the ocean, you can probably get it at the Tsukiji market. We took time in the afternoon to buy groceries for a couple days, anticipating hungry bellies as we hike up and down Mt. Fuji. The evening was devoted to trying to figure out Japan’s sometimes confusing rail network in an effort to find the best way to Kawaguchiko, our jumping-off point for Fuji. 8 km walk from walk Magemo to Tsumago.

The guide book and the tourist information centre told me that it would take 3hours to walk it.
However I only had 2, as I got up way to late to actually do this walk. What can I say i did it in 1 1/2 hours :)

Rock'n Roll!!!! found the coolest little coffee shop in Tsumago.

... equally spectacular. Another batch of small dishes came to us after the beds had been stripped and put away. A ryokan is definitely the way to relax and get a good night sleep. I'd recommend that if you climb Fuji to book one for the night after you've been to the summit. Most have their own onsens which is the perfect thing to do after a lot of ...
